J. Matthew Cross

Matt obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from Baylor University and his law degree, cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law where he served as an editor of Baylor Law Review and was admitted to the Order of Barristers. After serving as a briefing clerk for the Texas Tenth Court of Appeals, Matt entered private practice in Fort Worth in 1999. His practice focuses on first party insurance litigation, coverage analysis, insurance defense litigation,  business risk analysis, risk management, and commercial litigation. Matt is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Texas State Bar Association, and Tarrant County Bar Association.


D. Brooke Osburn

Brooke obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Management from Harding University and her law degree, cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law where she served as an editor of the Baylor Law Review. In 2006, Brooke joined Smith & Cross, L.L.P. and in 2013 became a partner at Smith Osburn Cross. Her practice focuses on insurance litigation, personal injury defense, commercial litigation and consumer law. Brooke is a member of the Texas State Bar Association and Tarrant County Bar Association.
